Imagine the convenience of consulting with your healthcare provider remotely, receiving a prescription electronically, and then effortlessly tracking its progress through your Reliance Care app.

Say hello to the latest update to our Reliance Care app: prescription tracking, engineered specifically to prioritise your health, time and convenience.

Empowering your health journey

We’ve been working with our partners at Reliance Family Clinics to make the fulfilment of telemedicine prescriptions quicker and more efficient: with more updates for plan members and fewer missed deliveries as a result.

Not only are Reliance Family Clinics pharmacies [Lagos, Abuja, and Rivers State] now available for telemedicine fulfilment, pick-ups and deliveries handled by Reliance Family Clinics will include push notifications on the status of your medication. It’s a new standard for how our plan members experience prescription management.

Guided by our members’ needs

Our innovation is driven by our community’s needs. We regularly conduct research and gather insights from plan members to understand their pain points and focus development accordingly. We’re proud to have delivered on requests for additional transparency around prescriptions, helping members better plan for their deliveries. Enrolees with prescriptions fulfilled by RFC pharmacies will enjoy the ease of remotely consulting with their healthcare provider, then receiving an electronic prescription, and monitoring its progress using the Reliance Care app.

A seamless journey

When you choose to pick up your medications from any of our RFC branches in Lagos, Abuja, and Rivers State, you will get notified when:

  1. Prescription Received:

As soon as your prescription reaches our system, you will receive a notification confirming its safe arrival. No more uncertainties about whether your request has been acknowledged.

  1. In Progress:

We keep you informed about the progress of your prescription. You’ll know when it’s being worked on.

  1. Ready for Pick-Up:

Once your prescription is ready for pick-up, you’ll receive a prompt notification. This means you can plan your visit to the clinic.

While this update is currently accessible to enrollees in Lagos, Abuja, and Rivers State, we aim to enable these new prescription statuses with other pharmacy providers on the platform, so enrolees across Nigeria have the same insight into their prescription journey regardless of the provider selected.
